Anna McChesney is CEO of the Center for Creative Healing in Chesterfield County. She recently talked about how the pandemic changed our lives. The isolation from lockdowns caused short-term problems like loneliness, but there were long-term problems, too, like learning to emotionally regulate. Natalie Morison-Uzzle is a therapist in Richmond. She says children suffered from remote learning that caused educational gaps, but kids also suffered in other ways. Morison-Uzzle tells 8News the social impact of the lockdowns is still very real.
