Suffolk Parks & Rec is holding a celebration tomorrow at 5 p.m., as they celebrate 50 years of their merger with Nansemond County. There will be food trucks and a cover band for the event. Deputy City Manager for Suffolk, Keven Hughes, says the park is still not fully finished, but it has already changed the landscape of downtown. Visitors will also be able leave items for a time capsule buried on the site, and sign the arches at the park.
