The country legend started the Imagination Library nearly 30 years ago to help children get access to free books. Powhatan County Public Schools has announced that it's now partnering with Parton's initiative which will give children a book every month from birth to age five. A registration will be held Wednesday at the Powhatan County Public Library on Mann Road and you can also register your child online at the Imagination Library website.
