(Alexandria, VA) -- A Virginia PetSmart has come under fire after numerous dogs have died under their care. Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is investigating the PetsHotel at the Potmac Yard PetSmart after two more dogs have died who were boarded there. Investigators say they were already investigating the location due to the death of Aussiedoodle complaint that was filed July 1st. The two additional dogs that died were boarded at the same time as the intial dog. PetSmart tells 7News that the death of the dogs may be due to underlying health conditions unrelated to the dogs' stay at the PetsHotel. the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria recommends doing extensive reasearch of any boarding facitliy before entrusting them with your pet.
