(Springfield, VA) -- A pilot from Virginia has been killed in plane crash in New York while trying to rescue animals. Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: Forty-nine year-old Seuk Kim of Springfield was killed in a plane crash Sunday. He was flying three rescue dogs to a no kill shelter in New York when investigators say his plane crashed in a wooded area outside Albany. Kim changed altitude due to bad weather and turbulence which may have caused his crash. One of the dogs he was transporting died, two survived. Kim frequently transported animals like dogs and cats up and down the East Coast. His family says they're starting a nonprofit in his honor. He leaves behind a wife and three kids. I'm Rr.
