Gary Walker stated his intentions at a recent board meeting, where he also announced his plan to resume his duties as board chair until the end of the year. Following his plea agreement in September, SoNoVA dot com reports Walker faces a suspended jail sentence and must resign from his position by March 2025. The plea agreement stemmed from charges related to perjury and failure to submit required financial disclosures. Walker's resignation will be effective in March 2025, and he is also barred from holding public office for the duration of his suspended sentence.
