Residents of Robin Court say they have been dealing with poor water quality for over a decade. Despite assurances from the county that the water is safe to drink, WDBJ reports recent tests have shown that it does not meet EPA standards. Mayor Alisa Davis says there are plans in place to connect Robin Court to the town's water system, but delays and funding issues have frustrated residents and local officials. The county expects the water project to be completed by the end of the year, but concerns about the prolonged situation remain.
