Residents like Beth Preston in the Callaway area tell WDBJ she went without power for a week, relying on propane heaters and community support. AEP encourages customers to report downed power lines and prepare for potential outages as more severe weather is expected. Only five customers in Franklin County remain without power as of Wednesday night.
