Virginia voters will head to the polls in June to select the candidates for the upcoming gubernatorial election. U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger is the only Democratic candidate, while Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears leads the Republican contenders. Other presumed Republican candidates include former Virginia Senator Amanda Chase, Dave LaRock, and Merle Rutledge. Candidates have until April 3rd to gather 10-thousand signatures to be on the ballot for the primary elections on June 17th. The winner will be decided on November 4th.
