The Roanoke County Police Department says Amelia Greenwald of Dayton was arrested during yesterday's protest in the Bent Mountain area. Greenwald reportedly attached herself to barrels to try to keep workers from accessing the site. Protesters have been trying to block the natural gas pipeline since construction began several years ago, saying it's unsafe and bad for the environment. The owners of the pipeline hope to finish it by the end of this month.
