(Richmond, VA) -- The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is reminding everyone to get their REAL IDs. Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: Virginia residents have until May 7th to get their REAL ID. The Virginia DMV says residents should start their application online, then make an appointment to make the process easy and quicker. Virginia residents will need to have a REAL ID in order to board domestic flights or enter federal facilities. Last month, the DMV issued more than 104-thousand REAL IDs to Virginians. The new REAL ID costs a one-time $10 dollar fee along with an ID or Driver's License card fee. I'm RR.
