Over a hundred rabbits were found living in poor conditions when the Richmond SPCA rescued them from a hoarding situation in Tennessee. The Humane Society of the United States coordinated the rescue effort, and the Richmond SPCA stepped in to help nurse the bunnies back to health. WRIC reports four cottontails, named Beatrix, Cutesy, Ribbon, and Thumper, are now available for adoption in Richmond. The hares are recovering from spaying and will need patient and loving owners due to their limited interaction with humans in the past. More information on adoption can be found on the Richmond SPCA's website.
