>>Virginia Beach School Board Approves Recovery School
(Virginia Beach, VA) -- A new recovery school to help teens through addiction is coming to Virginia Beach. Rocio Rivera has details.Preview: The Virginia Beach School Board voted 10 to one to approve the school. The new Harbor Hope Center will be a hybrid sort of school for teens recovering from substance abuse. It'll combine your typical highschool with counseling and resources for those struggling. It plans to lean heavy on virtual learning, but will have a physical component at the old Great Bridge Middle School in Chesapeake. It'll be one of only two recovery schools in the state. The school plans to open by this August and hopes to have about two dozen students enrolled. I'm RR.
