The attorneys for Christine Gibbons say the fight is not over yet after a judge ruled against her wrongful termination lawsuit late last week. Gibbons had argued that she was fired from the Lynchburg Registrar's Office last year because she was not part of a Republican Party group that claimed the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. She then filed a case against the electoral board. However, a judge decided late Friday that politics did not play a role in Gibbons' termination. Her lawyers are considering filing an appeal.
