(Hampton Roads, VA) -- President Trump ordered five agencies, including the EPA, to set expiration dates on regulations he says prevent innovation around the Chesapeake Bay watershed and some environmental groups are not happy.

The executive order has been criticized by environmental groups, such as the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, who fear a reversal of progress made in cleaning up the Bay.Preview: Foundation Senior Vice President Alison Prost spoke to WAVY to express concerns that the order also bans efforts to improve the environment in poor neighborhoods with industrial facilities, potentially exacerbating environmental harms. Some think the state of Virginia may have to pick up more of the bill to save the Bay.
