Arlington County officials plan to request up to $85 million dollars in state grant funding for three traffic projects aimed at improving road safety. The projects include upgrades to the Arlington Boulevard/Washington Boulevard interchange, improvements along Glebe Road, and enhancements to the Interstate 395 and Shirlington Rotary Interchange. If approved, WDBJ reports the projects could take at least five years to complete under the oversight of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
