(Smithfield, VA) -- A Chesapeake man is behind bars after being accused in a road rage shooting in Isle of Wight County Wednesday. Sara Bartlett has more.Preview: Voicer Script:
Smithfield Police say 39-year-old Michael Robinson was on Route 10 when another vehicle drove by him. That's when WAVY-TV reports Robinson pulled out a gun and started firing shots at the passing vehicle. There were no injuries reported. Suffolk Police were able to track down Robinson and locate the gun he used. Robinson was taken into custody, is facing multiple felony charges and is in jail without bond. Police are calling it a road rage incident. A recent study by Forbes Advisor listed Virginia fourth in the U.S. for the most confrontational drivers.
