Lisa Phelps says fellow board member Nicole Cole slammed a door on her arm and tripped her during a board meeting on May 20th. Another board member reportedly witnessed the confrontation, leading to a misdemeanor assault and battery charge. The two board members have clashed before, with Cole voting to reprimand Phelps for alleged ethics violations last month. Cole has denied the accusation and her lawyer expects the charge to be dismissed.
