The City Council voted on Tuesday night to enter into an interim agreement with a developer to build a new Maury High School. The plan is to construct the building next to the current campus in order to preserve the historic structure. Before the decision, Norfolk Preservation Alliance's Alice Allen-Grimes spoke out against the project...Preview: Developers are hoping to build a four-story school with new athletic amenities and a pool complex. The city is expected to spend more than six-million dollars on the design process, which is set to begin next month.
