Teachers and students are both saying they're excited to be back in the classroom, despite having to adjust their curriculums to make up for lost time. The school system had to create new bus routes due to storm damage on roads, but managed to get everyone back on track. The first semester may extend into January, but the community is coming together to support each other and rebuild stronger after the severe weather. WFXR reports that the American Red Cross is providing assistance to those affected by the storm, and donations are encouraged to help with relief efforts.
