A recent report by The Virginia Public Access Project analyzes the instructional spending per student in Virginia's school districts. Arlington leads the list, investing $19,495 per student, while Surry County follows closely with $18,406 per student. Among Hampton Roads districts, 13News Now reports Chesapeake spends the most at over $13,000 per student. Suffolk came in at the bottom allocating the least at $9,931 per student. Data was not available for 15 localities in Virginia.
