Virginians are being encouraged to put down their phones and spend more time with family. Governor Youngkin has issued a declaration naming this week "Virginia Screen-Free Week." The governor's office is asking Virginians to take intentional breaks from phones, tablets and social media to connect with the "world beyond the screen." That includes reconnecting with family and spending time in the surrounding community.
