A celebration was held this weekend in Ashland in honor of Secretariat's birthday. The horse racing legend was born 55 years ago in Caroline County at a farm owned by a former Ashland resident who helped raise him. Secretariat is considered the greatest racehorse of all time, but at least one fan thinks that doesn't do him justice. She tells 12 On Your Side she considers Secretariat the greatest athlete of all time.
