(Norfolk, VA) -- A former Virginia city office building security guard has pleaded guity to stealing electronics worth thousands. Rocio Rivera has details.

Thirty-seven year-old Anthony Stateman admitted to Virginia police that he stole as many as 200 laptops and cell phones worth about $600-thousand dollars from his job. He worked as a security guard at the Norfolk Department of Human Services. Police say Stateman often worked weekends when fewer people worked, and would bring the stolen items home in his backpack at the end of his shift. Stateman is free on bond but will be pleading guilty to grand larceny next month. I'm RR.
