The renovations come after seniors in the Stonewall Place building suffered from a malfunctioning HVAC system in July 2024. While residents appreciate the effort, some believe more attention is needed in other areas like infrastructure and water leaks. CEO Steven Nesmith acknowledges to 8 News the importance of providing decent and safe living conditions for seniors and aims to complete the renovations by the end of 2025.
