Officials say the arrests were made for solicitation of prostitution, and the operation, called Operation Buyer Beware, aims to reduce demand for commercial sexual activity that drives sex trafficking. The Campbell County Sheriff's Office is working to make the area inhospitable to human trafficking and encourages community members to report suspicious activity. Sheriff Whit Clark tells WDBJ he recommeneds community members to get trained to recognize human trafficking and to report suspicious activity.
