A man accused of a mass shooting that killed three University of Virginia football players has pled guilty to multiple charges connected to the case. Christopher Darnell Jones Junior entered his guilty plea yesterday in Albermarle County. Investigators accused Jones of opening fire on a bus returning from a field trip in November 2022, killing Lavel Davis, Junior, D'Sean Perry and Devin Chandler. Two other people were wounded in the shooting. Jones could be sentenced to life in prison when he is sentenced in February.
