>>New Small Business Disaster Loans Available in Virginia
(Richmond, VA) -- There's good news for small businesses in Virginia still struggling from Richmond's water crisis earlier this year. Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: Governor Youngkin has made new disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration available for businesses that are still in the red following a massive water issue in Richmond. In Janurary, an outage at a water treatment plant caused much of the city to have little to no water for days, and for some weeks, causing many businesses in the area to be unable to operate. Some restuarants and businesses report losing as much as $20-thousand during the crisis. The city has offered some businesses small grants but many say it's not enough to cover losses. The new small business loans are also available to counties outside of the Richmond area. I'm RR.
