The 158-thousand-dollar fine for Energix Renewables was revealed in a consent order issued last week. The DEQ inspected the company's facilities in Henry, Sussex, Wythe and Buckingham counties and found issues with drainage, erosion and sediment. The company agreed to fix the problems as part of the consent order. The company has previously been fined nearly 200-thousand dollars for similar violations.
