NASA SpaceX Crew-9 commander, Zena Cardman, will be heading to the ISS. NASA says they're targeting a date no earlier than September 24th for the Crew-9 mission to get there. NASA says engineers with Boeing are analyzing results of a recent docked hot-fire testing, to finalize flight rationale and confirm reliability of the ships return to Earth. Cardman hails from Williamsburg and was selected to be a NASA astronaut in August of 2017. Two other astronauts are currently aboard the ISS after running into issues with Starliner extending their stay. That mission was supposed to last eight days, but has lasted now more than eight weeks.
