(Cumberland County, VA) -- Several Virginia State Parks are closing this fall for renovations. Rocio Rivera has details.Preview: Seven state parks have closed or are set to close this fall in order to renovate and make upgrades to cabins and campgrounds. Some projects have already started, while others are set to start before the new year. They include Bear Creek Lake State Park, Westmoreland State Park, First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, Claytor Lake State Park, Fairy Stone State Park, Grayson Highlands State Park, and Douthat State Park. Some of the renovations will take a few years to finish, but the state parks themselves will stay open and will not be affected by the closures. I'm RR.
