(Henrico, VA) -- A shop in Henrico was vandalized and robbed but the owner says police didn't notify him. Brett McCray, owner of Need-Ful Things & More tells CBS6 he experienced a break-in at his store in the overnight hours Monday. He says the alarm company followed protocol by calling police, but he slept through his phone call from the alarm company.

McCray says he is frustrated with the lack of communication from police. Due to over $10,000 in damage and theft of jewelry, he plans to temporarily close his shop for repairs. Police are investigating the burglary.
