7th grader from Norfolk Academy, Caroline Wetherington, has started a passion project called 'Caroline's Barkery' during the pandemic. She bakes homemade dog treats and sells them to raise money for the Virginia Beach SPCA. With the profits, she has been able to donate over $6,100 worth of supplies to the animal shelter. The 12 year old's dog treats are made with safe ingredients and are available for purchase online. 10 On Your Side reports that Caroline's efforts have made a positive impact on the community and the animals in need.
