>>VA Beach Parents Over Suspension Of Child Who Reported Bullet In Class
(Virginia Beach, VA) -- The family of an eleven-year-old Virginia Beach boy is upset with the decision to suspend him from school after he reported another student for bringing a bullet to class. Thomas Cage has the details.Preview: Voicer Script:
The boy reportedly told the principal of St. John the Apostle School about the bullet, but only after a mandatory test lasting about two hours. The principal suspended the student who brought the bullet but also suspended the boy who reported it for not doing so quickly enough. The parents say the suspension sets a bad example that might discourage other students from reporting dangerous situations. They may also pursue legal action against the school to have the suspension removed from the boy's record.
