Hampton University students flocked to a local polling location to register to vote and cast provisional ballots. University shuttles dropped students off every hour, leading to overcrowding at the precinct. The precinct had to add four additional workers to accommodate the influx of students. Despite the long line, The Virginia p ilot reports that students were enthusism was evident as they participated in the democratic process for the first time.
