A Richmond-area eleven-year-old will spend time in juvenile detention in Florida in connection to a string of threats directed at Central Florida schools. The boy was sentenced after he pleaded no contest to dozens of swatting threats against at least five campuses on Florida's Atlantic Coast just north of Daytona Beach back in May. He will remain in detention until he is placed in a high-risk program for roughly a year. After completing the program, the child will be sent back to Virginia under supervised release.
