Youngkin addressed the General Assembly's tax and budget committees yesterday and noted that the "Virginia playbook" of tax relief and infrastructure investment has led to record revenue growth. He urged lawmakers to consider giving back some of that surplus revenue to taxpayers during the next General Assembly session. Democrats said their priority next year will be changes to the tax code to ensure stable funding for core services like education and health care.
