(Richmond, VA) -- A recent report finds there's still a teacher shortage in Virginia schools. Rocio Rivera has details.Preview: A state report released this week has found no improvement on last year's critical shortage of teachers. The report found the highest need is for elementary school teachers, followed by special education, and middle school. Last summer, progress was made on closing the teacher vacany rate, but the current political climate and ongoing pay concerns are causing many teachers to leave the profession. Governor Youngkin is expected to respond on the teacher shortage later this month. His office is currently going over budget amendments and education related bills. I'm RR.
