(Henrico, VA) -- Two teachers are suspended after what their school calls a deeply troubling incident in Henrico County. Scott Kimbler with more.

A student at Richmond Montessori School slipped out of the school Friday and wound up on Parham Road. Someone driving by saw the child and stopped to make sure the child didn't run into traffic. He also took the child back to the school. School officials say the teachers are suspended pending an investigation, and they could be fired. Henrico Police are also investigating. An HPD official tells CBS 6 detectives are working with Child Protective Services to determine if there are any criminal violations.
