(Richmond, VA) -- Tiny homes for the homeless or people with chronic illnesses are coming to Richmond. Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: Nonprofit Eden Village of Richmond will be building the tiny homes on two lots off Chamberlayne Ave. City council approved the sale of the lots, paving the way for the $5.2 million dollar project to be built. The tiny homes will be about 400 square feet with one bedroom and bath, come fully furnished, and include utilitlies and counseling and medical services. The homes will be prioritized for people that have been unhoused for more than a year. Eden Village says they still need about $200-thousand dollars in donation to begin construction, but they hope to have it completed in the next two years. I'm RR.
