The Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office has introduced K9 training cards featuring K9s Pablo, Apollo, and Boyka. The glossy cards showcase each K9's unique role and skills within the office. WAVY reports the cards will be distributed at community events attended by the K9 deputies and their handlers to engage with citizens and show appreciation for their support. The Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office K9 Unit, established in 2013, has conducted 187 operational searches in FY 2024, resulting in six felony drug convictions.
