Lee Schmidt and Crystal Arrington filed a federal lawsuit against the city yesterday, claiming the speed cameras used by the city violate their Fourth Amendment rights. They say having their license plates recorded and their information stored amounts to an illegal search by the city. The suit asks the court to force the city to remove the cameras and delete all the data already collected.
