The transportation system is looking for feedback while it continues to work on the Connecting Chesapeake study. The goal is to make it easier for people to travel around the city, get to Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, and as well as Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Hampton Roads Transit officials started with more than a dozen different alternative bus routes and have narrowed them down to at least four ideas. HRT is trying to get input from residents in hopes of having one or two options ready by early next year. A public forum is scheduled this afternoon at the Robert Hall Transfer Center. Another one will take place on August 24th.
