Tyler Wenrich entered the guilty plea to two counts of ammunition possession, according to CNN. Wenrich was on vacation last month when he was stopped by Royal Turks and Caicos Island Police Force who found two bullets in his backpack, which he said were left in there from a prior hunting trip. Wenrich is scheduled to be sentenced on May 28 and faces up to 12-years in prison if convicted. He's one of five Americans recently arrested in Turks and Caicos on ammunition charges. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin along with the governors of Pennsylvania and Oklahoma recently sent a letter to the governor of the islands asking for the men's release saying they made a mistake but had no "malicious intent."
