Members of the Virginia House of Delegates Privileges and Elections Committee held a meeting in Richmond this week and some are warning that mail-in ballots may not be counted and processed in time. One member expressed concern that mail-in ballots faced challenges reaching their destinations on time since the 2020 presidential election. Mail-in voting reached a peak during the pandemic stressing the postal system and leading to delays in vote counting.
