A judge in Albemarle County approved the settlements for the estates of D'Sean Perry, Devin Chandler and Lavel Davis Jr. WVIR-TV reports that each of the football player's families will receive two-million dollars in the civil settlement. The three were killed and two others were injured when Christopher Jones opened fire on a charter bus that was carrying students back from a field trip in November 2022. Trial for Jones is scheduled to begin in January 2025.
