(Virginia Beach, VA) -- A judge is awarding a Virginia Beach mom 81-dollars after her son was suspended by his school last year. Rachel Wigand sued St. John the Apostle Catholic School after her son was suspended for a day and a half in September.

Wigan sued for tuition compensation, arguing the school breached its contract with her by applying an unjust suspension. The judge ruled in her favor earlier this week.
