(sound offtop)Preview: Airforce Veteran Andre Peery tells WAVY events like the one on Saturday give a little healing to the 5.4 million Vietnam War veterans who may still struggle with the traumas of war and of their harsh homecoming. A recognition event takes place Saturday in Rocky Mount. The event will begin at noon at the Rocky Mount Veterans Memorial Park, followed by a Recognition Dinner and Awards event at 1:15pm at American Legion Post 6.
