Virginia Republican Congressman Bob Good says he wants a recount after losing his Fifth District primary to state Senator John McGuire. The state Board of Elections certified the final results in the primary yesterday, saying McGuire won by nearly 400 votes. The margin allows Good to ask for a recount, though he will have to pay for it. Former President Donald Trump endorsed McGuire in the race, criticizing Good after the congressman backed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during the GOP presidential primary.
