Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares [[me-yar-ez]] filed an emergency stay with the U.S. Supreme Court Monday following an executive order made by Governor Glenn Youngkin in August to remove everyone from the voter rolls who identified as a non-citizen. Former US Attorney John Fishwick tells WSET things could move quickly.Preview: A lawsuit filed at the end of October claimed the purge also removed eligible voters from the rolls. A federal judge ruled in favor of reinstating the voters saying it goes against federal election laws to purge the rolls within 90 days of an election.
